Improving our Neighborhood Parks

Lets take a look at the Neighborhood Parks. District#3 has seen substantial growth through out both Riverview and Valley View. Many of the new residents who have moved into the District have children. The Neighborhood Parks in District#3 had gone 20 plus years without any Capital Improvement in the playground equipment. Noah's Ark Park had the old wooden playground equipment removed a couple years ago, leaving all the children in the Valley View Area with only one (1) small swing set and an old metal spring teeter-totter. After many Capital Improvement discussions with the City Commission and the City Park and Rec. grants became available for New Handicap Accessible playground equipment for Noah's Ark Park and another Grant became available for Valley View Park.
