Below are just a few ways in which I try to make a difference in Great Falls, Montana.
Currently serving my second (2nd) term as Neighborhood Council Member for District #3 - (Riverview & Valley View). Serving the needs of those in our district. Helped to save the Neighborhood Pools, working to improve our neighborhood parks, trying to find a group willing to take on the Valley View Park Project.
I have been singing in the Great Falls Symphonic Choir since 2001.
Current and past member of the
Valley View, North Middle School and C.M. Russell PSTA.
Nominated, and appointed as a Board Member on the City Park and Recreation board in 2007 (still serving on the board). Worked hard to rebuild and improve our Neighborhood Pools (Jaycee, Water Tower & Mitchell Pool), and currently working to improve our neighborhood parks through capital improvement funding, and grants.
Currently serving as a member of the
ACTION Team which include members
from the
Neighborhood Councils,
Neighborhood Housing Service, and the
Neighborhood Watch. We have created a Welcome to our
community packet filled with information about the City of Great
Falls, and information about the local neighborhood.
Currently serving as a member of the Great Falls Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB), Great Falls Area Chamber of Commerce, and Imagine Downtown Great Falls. I have been working with various organization, restaurants, musicians, and artists to advertise, promoted and create fun and exciting events, concerts, conventions, car shows, art shows, and more to the City of Great Falls.
Completed Leadership Great Falls Training and served as the Leadership Great Falls Public Relations Representative for two (2) years. Currently maintaining their website. (GFLeaders.com).
Coached T-Ball, Baseball, Soccer, refereed Basketball, and organized and hosted the NFL Punt, Pass, and Kick competition for the City of Great Falls and surrounding communities.
I am a family man who has been married almost 20 years to the love of my life, and my high school sweetheart Christy. We have two (2) wonderful sons. Matt is a sophomore at C.M. Russell, and Drew is a seventh grader at North Middle School. Both are honor students and have received numerous honors, and awards include the GOLD Presidential Academic Award. Oh, I almost forgot our third child, Samson. Samson is our 9 year old Black Lab.
I work full time at Lumber Yard Supply Co. as I.S. Manager and partial owner, and full time at Austin Designs as owner and web designer.

There is a reason Great Falls is called "Great" Falls and not just "Good" Falls. Great Falls is a Great place to live, raise a family, work and to get involved in the community.
